4. Manager Configuration fails with SQL Authentication ErrorΒΆ

When going through the installation process of the RaMP DCIM Manager Configuration Tool

If you came across the following warning message:

And you clicked [Yes] to proceed, then clicked [Next] on the screen below:

Then ran into the following error:

The fix consists in confirming that the following 4 conditions are met:

  1. An existing SQL Server instance exists on the server

  2. Confirm that the SQL Server collation is SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS

  3. Confirm that SQL Authentication is turned on

  4. Confirm that the username and password (Local & SQL Server) has read/write permissions, and enter it accordingly within the following screen:

When the installation has been completed successfully, you should see the following screen:
