New Features

  • Enhanced the search functionality

    • Basic search is enhanced to allow search for patch panel cables
    • Advanced search enhanced for cloud servers
    • Advanced search can now be used to search for Asset Vue specific fields
  • Enhanced BACNet/IP protocol subsystem

  • Updated RAMP .Netcore framework to 4.5.2

  • Enhanced the RAMP License Key menu to reflect whether the RAMP Manager has successfully established contact with Hyperview’s License Server.

Changes in Behavior

Prior to RAMP Release 3.13.0: Data Collector and Data Analyzer were grouped under Agents.

Starting with RAMP Release 3.13.0: Data Collector and Data Analyzer are grouped under RAMP Services.

Prior to RAMP Release 3.13.0: Users can not filter tasks based on a specific workflow

Prior to RAMP Release 3.13.0: there was no indication in the GUI whether RAMP Manager was able to successfully contact Hyperview’s License Server.

Starting with RAMP Release 3.13.0: RAMP License menu will indicate whether RAMP Manager has been able to successfully contact Hyperview’s License Server.

Supported Upgrade Path

Direct or one-step migration of RAMP Database from prior RAMP software releases to RAMP 3.13.0 are supported for following RAMP software releases:

  • RAMP 3.10
  • RAMP 3.11
  • RAMP 3.12

End of Life

With the release of 3.13.0, release 3.10 and earlier software releases are now declared to be End-of-Life.

Customers running release 3.10 or earlier software releases should upgrade to a newer software release within next 2 months from the General Availability of release 3.13

Resolved Issues

  • Fixed outlet monitoring monitoring change logs to make them more clear
  • Fixed the annotation of reserved devices on the contracts page
  • Fixed disabling the ability to change the location for retired assets
  • Prevented users from making a patch panel connection from and to the same port

Known Issues

6729 - Rollup reports and scheduled reports time zone do not match None
6487 - Cannot delete an asset that has been part of a Planned Move Retire the asset, will be fixed in a future version
6911 - Older Juniper switches distributed by Dell are not supported fully by the discovery protocols. Contact Hyperview support if you have further questions None
7020 - In RAMP, a connected device in a network switch could return ‘Unknown” name and type if the connected device is not discovered in RAMP. None
